Therapist
Shawn LaPray, LCPC, CCTP-II
I work with high-functioning adults who are ready for something deeper than coping strategies alone. Many of the individuals I serve are successful, capable, and driven — yet privately feel stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected from themselves. They’re not looking for surface-level change. They’re seeking meaningful healing and lasting growth.
My primary approach is Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy, a powerful, evidence-based model that helps you understand and transform the internal patterns that drive anxiety, perfectionism, self-criticism, and relational challenges. Rather than trying to “fix” you, IFS helps us access your innate capacity for clarity, compassion, and confidence. From that place, real change becomes possible.
When appropriate, I also offer Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) as part of the healing process. Used intentionally and with careful preparation and integration, ketamine can create space for profound insight, emotional release, and new perspectives — often accelerating the depth of therapeutic work. I view ketamine not as a quick fix, but as a catalyst that supports deeper connection to your internal system and your authentic Self.
My work is grounded in respect, mindfulness, and a commitment to innovative, research-based care. If you’re someone who functions well on the outside but longs for greater alignment, freedom, and emotional clarity on the inside, therapy can be a powerful next step.
My credentials:
Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor with over 15 years of experience in the mental health field.
Level 1 Trained IFS therapist.
Trained and experienced in Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy.
I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Sociology in 2009, my Master’s degree in Counseling in 2011, and my MBA in 2014 at Idaho State University.
